We were delighted when Charlie and his Mummy and Daddy arrived in New Zealand. We had to wait until April 25th to get up to Auckland to see them.
They are all squished into the Foster-Atkins household - four adults and two small boys. Cosy to say the least.
I will try to keep you up to date via this blog - it's the easiest way to get pictures online for you to see!
Such a smiley boy!
We had a lovely day out at the Aether and Iron exhibition at MOTAT (museum of transport and technology ) where the boys were fascinated by the amazing steam technology.
While Charlie explored the inside of the steam engine Stan painted a ray gun. Later Charlie, Rik, Sharon and I all took a trip inside a space ship.
Chris and I stayed in our caravan at Ambury Farm, an Auckland Regional park close to where the Foster-Atkins family live. They all came out for lunch on Sunday at the farm and the boys and I had a lovely walk around the fields looking at the animals. The cattle ramp made an exciting pirate ship along the way.
The Piggy portrait was fun too...
but after such a long walk we got tired and needed a rest in the caravan (for all of three minutes!)
I'm not sure when we willnext get up to Auckland - but will keep you posted when we do.
